Vuelta a España – Stage 18 – Bennati pips Swift

Daniele Bennati has taken the sprint in the 18th stage of the Vuelta beating Ben Swift with a better track throw of the bike at the line. John Degenkolb got boxed in on the sprint and missed the jump finishing fifth. For Ben Swift, it’s been a frustrating Vuelta as he seems to be sent to the line in good shape but fades in the end. For Bennati, it’s great to see him get the win as he’s had a tough last couple of years.
