Tour du Suisse – Final – Cunego Heartbreak

Levi Leipheimer has stolen the show and (earned) the yellow jersey from Damiano Cunego on the time trial final day of the Tour du Suisse. Leipheimer overcame a massive deficit of 1’59” to win by the narrowest of margins we’ve seen in years in a stage tour — 4 seconds. For Cunego, the time trial rears it’s ugly head again as we see him struggle to maintain a weeks worth of impressive work in the mountains.

Fabian Cancellara won the day setting the fastest time at 41’01” while a couple of his teammates, the Schlecks, had awful days on the bike. Andy finished 34th (+2’32”) and Frank, who won this race on the strength of his TT last year finished a horrendous 58th (+3’08”). What may this mean for the Tour?
