Critérium du Dauphiné – Stage 3 – Monster Martin

Tony Martin has once again shown that he will be the likely challenger to Fabian Cancellara in the time trial stages of the Tour de France. That is, if anyone can possibly even seriously challenge Cance. Tony won the long 42.5km TT on the third stage of the Dauphiné into Grenoble. Second fastest on the day, and making his own statement, was Bradley Wiggins. If Bradley can limit his losses in the mountains he could be a podium contender for the Tour. He Time Trials much better than either Schleck, Evans, Sanchez and any of the other top contenders. If Contador decides to race the Tour, then Bradley would likely be racing for second, but he likely is anyway. Ah, the Dauphiné, the only race in the world where you spend all your tie thinking and talking about another race.
