Critérium du Dauphiné – Stage 1 – JVDB1W

Jurgen Van Den Broeck got his first professional win with a convincing attack today on the first stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné. For JVDB, it’s a good sign of his form heading into the Tour where he is hoping to improve on last year’s 5th place. Lars Boom, who was in yellow after yesterday’s prologue, understandably suffered in the mountains and relinquished the race lead to Alexander Vinokourov.
