Vuelta a España – Stage 5

Tyler Farrar has won the 5th stage into Lorca of the Vuelta a España over Koldo Fernández and Mark Cavendish in a sprint finish to the line. Farrar took advantage of a well timed jump after Petacchi went very early and Cavendish then followed shortly after leaving too much ground to cover and opening the door for Farrar. Little change in the overall with Gilbert still leading, however, David Arroyo did somehow lose ~1:26 and drop to 25th place at +2:27.
