Yesterday, Cima Coppi got to take the day off, step outside in the sun (err… and rain) and meet some friends. A big shout out to the city of Vancouver for organizing a great event, Bike Vancouver, and a heartfelt thanks from us for inviting our tiny little company to hang out with all the big boys of the Vancouver bike scene.
As I understand it, the event kicked off with a group ride down the excellent Dunsmuir viaduct and rolled over to Granville and Robson. There could be found some 15+ tents of various bike shops, magazines, rental companies, car shares etc., as well as ourselves, presenting just a slice of what’s available in the goods and services arena for the Vancouver cyclist. Mayor Gregor Robertson was in attendance to officially launch the opening of the bike path, as well as all the wonderful folk from the city of Vancouver Greenways and Neighborhood Transportation group. It was awesome, thanks again, nice to meet everyone who came out, see some familiar faces and we’ll see you next year!
