Tour of Romandie – Stage 1

Peter Sagan, the kid who can win at will, has won the first stage of the Tour of Romandie just one day after his second place finish in the individual time trial prologue. Marco Pinotti who lead Sagan by one second, didn’t keep pace in the final sprint and lost the leaders jersey. Another Mark, Cavendish, lost touch with the group on the climb 20km from the finish. Cavendish still seems to be lacking form after the dental surgery delayed his training, and the sprint favorite was nowhere to be seen in today’s final sprint.
