Vuelta a Castilla y León – Stage 2

Theo Bos wins again! Bos won the second stage of the Vuelta a Castilla y León into Placencia over second place Graeme Brown and third place Oscar Grau. For Brown, this is the third time he has finished second to Theo Bos this season, and the second time in two stages during the race. The other victim for Theo this season? None other than the Manx Missile Mark Cavendish. It appears we have a new young sprinter converted from the oval, so watch out in two-three years when he gets some more road experience in him.

Race favorites Alberto Contador and Denis Menchov were more active today finishing up with the sprinters in 6th and 8th place respectively. For Bos, it is two-for-two in wins at the race and he retains the leaders jersey going into tomorrows third stage from León to Alto del Morredero.
